The Journey Museum & Learning Center
Wants To Thank Our 2016 - 2017 Education Partners!

Allied Arts Fund Logo

A special thanks goes out to the Allied Arts Fund  and Stan Adelstein for providing us with a $1,000 Project Grant to help support our very first Journey Through the Arts Camp! Participants were engaged in hands-on art activities such as candle-dipping, weaving/knitting, parfleche, space art, beading, and watercolor. Each student gained knowledge of the importance of art in culture.

Allied Arts raises funds from individual and business donors, and administers grants from Stanford Adelstein and the City of Rapid City arts investment grant, which allows them to provide funding to many other grassroots, non-profit arts projects.

Each year, Allied Arts is able to administer over $250,000 to support the arts in the Black Hills, yet this represents only a fraction of the money needed to sustain our arts community.

Many Allied Arts member agencies provide programs at no cost or at low cost, and all give back to the community, providing outreach to children, seniors, and the underprivileged through donations of time, talent, performances, event tickets and scholarship funds.

We can't thank the Allied Arts Fund and Stan Adelstein enough for helping our Arts Camp to be a success! Click here to find out more about the Allied Arts Fund!
