Forces of Flight is a NEW program designed to introduce youth to the world of aviation. Learners will be exposed to several activities that will help them understand the four forces of flight (lift, weight, thrust and drag).
This special program will take place every early release Friday during the fall school semester; the program kicks off for its first activity THIS Friday from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Join us to make and launch a water propelled rocket. Students will get an introduction to aeronautical concepts, receive basic safety protocols, and apply key concepts to launch experiments.
Parents are welcome, but not required. We request all students be picked up promptly, by 4:15 PM at the latest, as we will not have supervision beyond 4:15 PM. This program is FREE to current Museum members or can be included with the cost of admission for non-members. Not yet a member? Get a current membership HERE.
